As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we request all families to log in to the Parent Portal and complete the required Annual Update. Please note that the Annual Update must be completed in order to access other features of the Parent Portal for the school year.

Important Dates to Remember

• August 17th: Student Schedules will be released in the Parent Portal.
• August 24th: Student Transportation and Bus Information will be released in the Parent Portal.

Overview of Major Steps

To guide you through the process, here is a summary of the steps outlined in the MPS Annual Update Guardian Directions:

1. Access the Registration Screen: Log into your Parent Portal account. When prompted by the pop-up alert, navigate to the menu on the left side and click More > Online Registration.
2. Start Your Update: Under Existing Student Registration, click the Start button. (Note: Only select New Student Registration if you are adding a brand-new student to the district).
3. Authorization: Confirm all currently enrolled students listed, type your First and Last Name in the authorization box to verify your identity as the guardian, and click Submit.
4. Household Verification:
   • Complete the online School Meal / Summer EBT Application link (all families are requested to complete this regardless of need).
   • Confirm or update your primary household phone number and address.
5. Guardian Information: Review demographics and ensure your preferred email address is up to date so you do not miss important communications.
6. Student Information & Policies:
   • Review student demographic information and set your preferred contact sequence order.
   • Review and acknowledge required forms, including the Photo/Video Release Document, Technology Acceptable Use Policy, and Cell Phone Policy.
7. Digital Signature & Submission: Provide your digital signature where prompted, review your application summary, and click Submit. Please stay on the screen until you receive the confirmation message.

If you need to update an address or correct any demographic details that cannot be changed directly in the portal, please contact the MPS Registration Office.
